CCL are lovely. I've bought bits from them for years, I was chuffed when I moved to a company a few miles from them (near Bradford) and discovered that a lot of our IT bits and pieces come from there.

I'm really glad. When I end up help-desking my friends and family, I hated recommending Dabs because I remember when they last had good customer service (circa 2001). But I'd never found anyone who had decent customer service these days, and most other computer sites have really poor navigation.

Shame - I've never had a problem with ebuyer and have bought a load of stuff from there. They tend to be cheaper more consistently than most others and now offer free shipping on any order over £50. Plus payment by Paypal which I now use instead of the stupid 'verified by VISA' card system where you have to enter details 18 times. The only time I did have an issue with a faulty order they arranged a courier to pick it up the next day, tested it the following and shipped me a replacement to be with me the day after that.

However they have a new BETA website which they want feedback on so I'll put all your comments on there :-)

Hmm, didn't see that option or I'd have taken it. Maybe it's for existing customers only, like having things shipped to your work address.

With online shops I'd rather pay 10% more and know there's someone who can help at the end of the phone, rather than a web form with someone who isn't allowed to send out anything other than a set response.

I know this is replying to an old post (only just found your lj btw) but did I recommend them? Possibly I know I used them when I order the parts for Willow and Tara and the parts worked fine.
