[Poll #1487979]

I tweeted a link to this, and someone was creeped out by the headless My Little Pony in the background of the last shot. I can see why dismantling something that holds the potential to be an object which someone feels an emotional connection to could be upsetting. But I must admit I don't really feel it.

{eta: To clarify, it's that model in particular, see also: The 21 Awesomest Superhero Mods for My Little Pony.}

But creepy in an arty sort of way.

Amusingly, the only pony out of the superhero mods that struck me as creepy was The Tick. Of course, given the need to present that prodigious jawline, I shouldn't be surprised...

Ooh, it's like the toys in Evil Sid's bedroom in Toy Story...

Not exactly creepy; just a bit weird. I've got friends who do the whole doll collecting/modding thing, and I just think it's a weird pasttime for a grown-up. Then again, I see the inherent artistry involved, and I'm sure they think my obsession with Christian homemakers blogs is equally weird, so I'm not hatin' on them or anything. We're all weird :D
