The only term I've never used is the British Islands.

I'm amused that half the people have picked the full UKGBNI option. I'm sure it's not in that common use in everyday speech.

I've used a mechanical grabber a few times, but I wouldn't say regularly.

I remember UKGBNI from when I used to read the urban legends newsgroup on usenet. It stuck in my head as something to be pronounced as "you kay gee oh barney".

I do default to using my feet to pick stuff up if I'm not wearing shoes. It's easier without socks but I still try it anyway.
