The great LJ postie debate:

Love 'em or hate 'em?
Do they bring you bills, and birthday cards.
They ignore
ruudboy's redirects, write apologetic notes to
ozgirlabroad, and generally cause merry hell for Offensive Mango.
Mine bought me a new pair glasses this morning.
Last week they hid a bundle of books I'd bought under the bin lid on the front door step. It kept the rain off. I couldn't fail to notice it. It saved me a trip to the sorting office.
So at the moment I like my postie. How about you?

Date: 2008-07-15 03:17 pm (UTC)I'm all for leaving things with neighbours, or tucked out of site, but that's due to our sorting office being miles away (why they can't use the one at teh end of my road I don't know), and our postie trying to be nice at Christmas and Not returning something to the sorting office (despite the card through the door) but redelivering it on Saturday.
