Anyone fancy Anime at the ICA?

if you like science fiction themes, action films, visual arts and/or anime, you might love Vexille ... We went to the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London to see it last week. It's showing there until the 20th of May, so you can still catch it.

I would love to go but I can't. I stupidly arranged to go on a trip to pompey and won't be home until past 6pm.

Saw it at the Toronto Film Festival last fall. You really need to see it on a BIG screen, it's astonishing.

It was pretty good.

Spoilers
Although the end was a little, overdone. With most characters getting a couple of deaths. Quite a lot of people laughed at the slowest chase scene in the world. The dramatic music and panning, with both of them hobbling slowly.


That said it was really enjoyable. I loved that they ignored the translation issue as much as any Hollywood film does, and just had all the Americans speaking Japanese throughout :)
