Shirt Update

cdave28/05 Bought 2m of Calico.
02/06 Printed pattern, cut, sellotaped, cut fabric.
03/06 Made a collar
05/06 Burrito Yoke
An I thought the collar was fiddly!
16/06 Arms
Flat felled seams take a lot of pinning, stitching and repinning!
24/06 All done (bar the button holes)
Lessons learned from practice shirt:
Pattern tweaks: Collar needs to be looser, shirt needs to be longer, possibly baseball cut, sleeves shorter.
Pattern shenanigans: Glimpses of inner collar stand and button plackard will be colour inverted, seen similar done on fancy shirts now I know what I'm looking for. Main colar will be unglitched plain plaid. Pocket with strip going other way, or maybe unglitched.
I think I'm going to need 107 x 180 cm of fabric.
