Although the IWM in London has more "stuff", I find the IWM in Manchester far more moving because of their approach to telling individual stories. There are things in Lambeth that are amazing - the exhibition on the Cold War and Civil Defence in particular, and some of the personal artefacts from WW1. The PoW/Escape exhibition a few years ago was superb too.
