The Devil's Panties is the journal comic of serial convention goer. It looks like she's been hitting about 20 a year for the last few years. It has nothing to with Satanic underwear.

Fuzz has been trying to get me to read it for years, but pitched it as being written by a metal/rock chick, so it was near the bottom of my to be read bookmarks.

A couple have really made me laugh recently.

• The effects that different alcoholic drinks have.

Meh, I'm bad a describing stuff. It did inspire me to visit a Ren Faire while I was in Kansas City for work this month, it was great fun and everything I was lead to believe by The Devil's Panties, with added jousting and naughty washer women ;-)

The one drawback about New Zealand is the distinct lack of cons, so it sure is good to read comic strips about them! :)

The fishlifter's are big fans of Australian conventions, and if you're still down under in 2010, the Worldcon's going to be in Australia.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't people up to something suitably fannish over there. LARPing on the set of Lord of the Rings, etc.

Still you seem to be busy enough as it is!
