It's not an OR it's an AND

Great AND Bearded ... like me and DougS :-)

The rest of you may or may not be discussing the RepRap project ... it's a classic "If A then B does not mean not B implies not A" ... or to put it in another example

if during the G20 talks alot of countries' leaders discussed aid to Africa and the newspapers report that Obama and Brown discussed aid to Africa, it doesn't say one way or the other whether the French leader did too.

So the Great and Bearded (me, DougS, other great and bearded people) and perhaps others may discuss the RepRap project ... and if it pulls in the beard groupies, then it's a cross I'm willing to bear (obl: easter reference!)

I'd dispute that. It's not "the great and bearded" it's "the great and the bearded".

The first implies that those there will be great and bearded, tha latter that the Great will be there and the Bearded will also be there.

Anyone who is great and bearded may have to be there twice.
