Lessons learned from practice shirt:
Pattern tweaks: Collar needs to be looser, shirt needs to be longer, possibly baseball cut, sleeves shorter.
Pattern shenanigans: Glimpses of inner collar stand and button plackard will be colour inverted, seen similar done on fancy shirts now I know what I'm looking for. Main colar will be unglitched plain plaid. Pocket with strip going other way, or maybe unglitched.

I think I'm going to need 107 x 180 cm of fabric.

1. Learn how to make a shirt!
☑️ 1a. Buy some cheap fabric.
☒ 1ai. Don't turn it into a princess Leia costume
☐ 1b. Get a pattern.
☐ 1bi. Ooh, parameterised patterns are a thing.
☐ 1bii. Ooh, excessively parameterised open source long sleeved pattern. I should get the tape measure out.
☐ 1c. Shortening the sleeves shouldn't be hard.
☐ 1d. Collars look fiddly.

☐ 2. Get some fabric printed.
☐ 2a. How much will I need?
☒ 2ai. How wide is a bit of fabric? "A bolt is usually 45 or 60 inches" Rule out any site that doesn't do better than that!.
☐ 2aii. Test laying out pattern on the floor.
☐ 2b. Where to buy from?
☐ 2bi. Compare against Spoonflower.
